Antique Telescope Spy Glass, Brass, Very Old, Needs TLC

I purchased this very old telescopic spy glass recently at an estate sale. There are no markings on it unless they are under some of the patina or under the leather wrap. The informational card on display with it only said that it was an antique from the mid 1800s or earlier. What intrigued me about it was I could envision some pirate standing on a ship searching out his next victim.

CONDITION:
It does needs some TLC though. It is brass and leather. It has 3 sections and all sections extend and close nicely. But inside, one of the lenses must be out of alignment as I can not see much of anything when looking through it. This would be best for someone who knows how to take one of these apart, re-align, and put back together. Currently as it is, it would be just for display.

Also, the leather wrap is coming apart at the end. You should be able to see this in my photos.

In a collapsed position it measures just over 5-1/2 inches. Extended, it measures 12-1/2 inches. Measuring across the largest end is about 1-1/4 inches.

Postal Insurance will be mandatory on this item. Since that safeguard is for the protection of both of us, I split that costs with the buyer.

Items in my listings come from estate sales, garage sales, or various auctions. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
