I purchased this sphere, or globe (whichever the correct term is) recently at an estate sale. The informational card that was with it called it a "4 Inch Rose Quartz Sphere". I am going by what the estate sale company has named it because I'm not very knowledgeable on different types of stones. I can tell you that it is quite heavy.
As for the size, holding a ruler up to it, it measures about 4 inches side to side. For comparison purposes, it's about the size of a softball. The stand that it is sitting on is 4 inches tall and is gold in color. I have not polished the sphere or the stand. You will receive it as I did.
As stated, it is a heavy piece. Shipping will be via USPS Flat Rate packaging. Insurance and signature confirmation is mandatory. Since those two services are for the protection of us both, I split those costs with the buyer.
