I'm not sure that this tie bar is an Air Force piece, but it was in a baggie with about a dozen Air Force rank pins.
It was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era. Unfortunately, I do not know the time frame on this piece.
I have searched all over the internet for this tie clip, but cannot find another one like it anywhere. I don't know if that means it's an older one, or just rare.
It measures 1-1/2 inches long. It is marked on the back clip with 'Crest Craft C23'. It is in excellent condition.
Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $3.95.
