This Native American fetish bracelet is made of 21 hand carved polished stone animals with turquoise stones and red coral beads in between the animals. Some of the stones used were black onyx, quartz, jasper, and others. The animals are all Indian themed and include such species as turtles, bears, birds, foxes, whale, armadillo, and probably a few others. Each animal measures from about 5/8ths to 1.25 inches long.

Not including the clasp and as shown in my main photo, the bracelet is 7.25 inches long. Adding the clasp into the measurement would make it about an inch longer. The clasp consists of a beaded loop that slides over a Buffalo nickel.

I purchased the bracelet at an estate sale. Sitting to the side of the necklace in the display was a small informational card that stated the types of stones and that the bracelet was originally purchased in New Mexico in the 1930s. It also said "Zuni Tribe" with a question mark afterwards. I inquired to one of the estate sale employees as to the meaning of the question mark and was told that the owner believes it was originally purchased during a visit to a Zuni pueblo in the very early 1940s. So, since they were not 100% sure, I'm leaving the Zuni relationship out of the listing.

I also questioned the date of '1930s" since the date on the Buffalo nickel is worn off and was told that was the date the owner relayed to them. I researched Buffalo nickels and they were produced between the years of 1913 and 1938.

The bracelet is in excellent clean condition. I see no chips or breakage on any of the animals or stones.

Delivery will be via Insured USPS First Class Mail from California. Since the insurance is for the protection of us both, I split that cost with the buyer. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $6.45.

To avoid duplicate shipping charges, please contact seller for combined shipping charges if multiple purchases are desired.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING depends on the country. Buyer must contact seller for shipping quote before making purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
